Do you enjoy camping?  Looking for a Unique Opportunity? 

Riverside Rentals is a small and peaceful family-owned campground overlooking the St. John River on the Kingston Peninsula.  The owners, Lorraine and Murray Reed are a retired couple who have developed the family homestead into a lovely campground.  The Helper (for past several seasons) has decided to move on to other opportunities and Lorraine and Murray realize it is time to begin looking for a responsible adult couple to team-up and assist with physical operation of their beautiful campground.  The campground consists of 29 sites (21 seasonal, 5 rental units and 3 off road sites).  A duo who takes pleasure in showing initiative and working without supervision is highly desired.  The ideal couple would be happy to live in a quiet country setting for six months, be physically fit, know what needs to be done and take pride in completing a job well. 

The following is an example of tasks this couple will be assisting the campground owners with:

·          Mowing, trimming and bush cutting

·          Repair and maintenance of trailers

·          Keep site lots clean (i.e., fire pits)

·          Pressure wash/clean patios, buildings

·          Painting and staining

·          Cut and haul campfire wood

·          Garbage pick up

·          Recycle pick up and sorting

·          Building decks, playground equipment

·          Cleaning (i.e., rental trailers, shower/laundry, shack-shack, recreation hall, loft)

·          Cleaning outside furniture

·          Wash BBQs after use

·          Monitoring the games room

·          Directing customers (i.e., check-in, check-out)

·          Answering inquiries

·          Gardening

·          Customer relations

·          Relaxing and enjoying the country atmosphere, community of campers and wonderful scenery!

This is a unique and rare arrangement for a mature couple with camping experience.  Possession of a valid driver’s license will be an asset.
