It is
rare today to meet genuine people who will help you and make you feel
like it is a sincere pleasure to do so. You are all such generous
and caring people. We all feel like you did everything in your
power to make our stay here a delightful vacation. We know of one
little boy who received special treatment on the tractor and will not
soon forget it. You have a wonderful campground that we would
revisit anytime and will definitely tell our friends about. Your
kindness makes such a difference. Thank You for all you do!

Hi Lorraine:
Sorry we did not get a chance to say goodbye. We got in late on Saturday
night and had to leave early Sunday morning in order to catch the ferry to
Digby. We enjoyed our stay very much at your campground. There was
everything that we needed in the trailer and then some and everyone was
very friendly. I hope that we left things as they were when we got there.
If there was any problems please let me know. Again thank you very much
for your hospitality.
Marie & Andrew Surette
Hi,
We just got home from your campsite. As we sit and talk as a family on
Sunday night about being at your campsite, I need to say it's what we
needed to be , for a great time and very friendly people to be around
while camping. My children really enjoyed being able to run about and have
fun and we felt safe to let them do so. On Sunday morning as we were
getting to leave, my boys went down to the river to go fishing and found a
toad, they wanted to packed him up and bring him home but their dad talked
to them and said that the frog would have a better life down by the river,
so they let him go. They said as long as they could come back next Summer
to see him. I told them that we could do it and they were very happy, What
they didn't know was that Mom an Dad wants to do so anyways. I would like
to thank-you so kindly for a great Weekend. Just that we need a longer
stay next Summer!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Hi,
We were at Riverside this past summer on the day you received your air
view of the campsite.
As often happens, we forget to thank people until a reminder is given. We
received your mailing this week.
We would like to thank you for your friendliness upon our arrival, helping
us get situated on the site and making sure that everything was well
suited to our needs, later in the day. After a long drive and being tired,
a quiet, friendly campground was exactly what was needed.
We had a wonderful time that evening and enjoyed a beautiful sunset over
the river. With such a beautiful view, photos were easy to take and be
successful. A couple of photos are attached.
Our plans this summer won't be taking us past your location but you never
know, things could change. We would certainly welcome the opportunity to
visit again.
Again, Thank you,
Linda and Dave Stabler"

Subject: A pleasure!!!!
Dear Lorraine;
I just wanted to take this opportunity to Thank You for the retreat you so
kindly provided for my family for the past four days. We had a blast!! It
was just what I so needed; a quiet place to rest and relax and enjoy the
pleasures of life. I absolutely loved being there and hope to again visit
with my family and start a tradition for us there. It was worth it.
Once again Thank You to you and your family for giving us a special place
to be together.
Sincerely
Kalley Reid.
Mr & Mrs Murray Reed,
Fellow campers - Thank you all so very much for the wonderful time Yvon
and I had at your campground last August 12, 13 & 14 2005. You folks sure
know how to make people feel welcome & thanks to Murray for a "Mr Fix-it"
job & Bob next door and of course our Bob. I am sure there's a place in
heaven for you all!
Sincerest warm wishes,
Dot & Yvon LeBlanc.
Hi,
We wanted you to know that we feel you have a wonderful spot here. It is
so peaceful and serene - a great place to "run away to"! We have seen and
heard the loon, watched a crane and eagle and we can't forget the mother
Duck and her babies.
Your trailers give the camping experience without the tent leaking - just
the soothing sound of rain on a tin roof. You can even sit outside
underneath the canopy!
Thanks for everything! It had to be the best break we have had in years.
Believe me, if at all possible we will be back! Have a great summer...
Lee & Susan Lambert - Grand Manan
ps.. while there we had a funny camping experience! In every camping trip
something interesting has to take place. Well this one was no different!
My husband and I rented a small trailer at Riverside Rentals on the
Kingston Peninsula. It was a wonderful, peaceful spot. One night my
husband got up around 3 am to go to the washroom. At five am I followed.
Only, I couldn't get the door open, He had locked it not even realizing
there was a lock on the door. I ended up going out to the truck to get his
tool box and he commenced to take the hinges off the door so we could get
in. Saved at last!
The following day it was hot so early in the evening Lee decided that he
needed a shower. You guessed it... he locked it again! So out we go to the
truck so we can replay the whole event. That's what you call "Once is not
good enough"
